Q: Do you sponsor visas for international medical graduates (IMGs)?

A: The Geriatrics Fellowship program will consider applicants in need of J1 and H1b visas if all other program requirements are met, including ABFM/ABIM Board Certified/Eligible.

Q: What are the minimum passing scores for USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 board exams for application to your program?

A: We do not have a minimum passing score to apply to our program, however you must pass the appropriate parts of the USMLE/COMLEX Step 1, 2 and 3 examinations. No more than one fail.

Q: Is clinical or research experience in the United States required to apply?

A: We do not require clinical or research experience, however this sort of experience will help strengthen an application.

Q: Do you offer clinical shadowing, observerships, externships, etc?

A: We do not offer these sorts of experiences at LVHN.
