Internal Medicine Residency Resident Benefits

The following program-specific benefits are offered to LVHN internal medicine residents in addition to the graduate medical education (GME)-wide salary and benefits.

Benefits

• Educational allowance: Expenses covered for educational expenses, including seminars and conferences
• Vacation: 14 days per year and either Christmas or New Year’s week off
• PA medical training license
• $500 Culture of Wellness benefit per family towards a  variety of programs and classes, provided by LVHN
• Up to three embroidered lab coats or scrub sets per year
• Certifications as required, such as BLS, ACLS
• ACP membership fee paid (intern year)
• MKSAP fee paid
• American College of Physicians-in-Training Examination fee paid
