How will the COVID-19 pandemic impact this year’s residency recruitment and interview season?

A: The safety and well-being of our applicants are of the utmost importance to us. We want to be sure that all applicants have equal opportunities during the interview season in the safest environment possible. As such, all interviews will be held virtually throughout the entire 2022-2023 interview season. 

What format will be used for the virtual interview days?

A: We will be using Zoom.

How will applicants be able to get a ‘feel’ for the program without visiting in person?

A: We are deeply saddened that applicants won’t have the opportunity to visit our hospital and meet our faculty and residents in person this year. One of our program’s biggest strengths is the ability to cultivate a supportive environment for our trainees to grow and develop into skilled sports medicine physicians. 

We are hard at work developing ways to share everything you need to know with you in a virtual format. We are working on getting photos, videos and tours of our facilities for you to review as you research our residency, our health network and the Lehigh Valley.
