Summary
Directs the team of professional recruiters within the department of Physician Recruiting for all entities of Lehigh Valley Health Network.

Job Duties

  • Assists in developing, interpreting, and implementing human resources philosophy, mission, goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and initiatives.
  • Develops short and long-range departmental recruitment goals and objectives consistent with the mission and goals of the LVHN.
  • Develops, secures approval of, and administers department capital and operating budgets and monitors adherence to the same.
  • Compiles annual recruitment statistics and generates reports to evaluate trends in recruitment.
  • Develops and implements strategies derived from tending analyses.
  • Ensures effective and efficient economic outcomes and relationships.
  • Generates and develops strategies aimed at improving recruitment processes.
  • Implements plans to achieve agreed-upon goals.
  • Manages departmental budget.
  • Plans the measurement, evaluation, and accountability of initiatives to determine impact/goal achievement


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, human resources, or health-related field
  • 5 years of experience in recruitment management.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in business administration, human resources, or health-related field.
  • 3 years of experience in physician or healthcare recruiting.


Physical Demands
Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
