Summary
Provides expert level functional knowledge to subordinate workers in producing work deliverables in support of project initiatives in the area(s) of specialization. Develops or modifies procedures to solve complex problems in their area(s) of specialization. Collaborates closely with business and/or functional area(s) to assist the user in defining their needs.

This is a hybrid position.

Job Duties

• Provides technical leadership, in area(s) of specialization, on medium to large size projects as required.
• Maintains understanding of user, project leader, and management direction and meets regularly to review project priorities and scope.
• Functions as a coach and mentor to team members to achieve workflow standardization and design across the organization.
• Stays abreast of technological advancements. Researches and recommends new tools and alternatives to improve access and efficiency within the organization.
• Coordinates and leads others in process of unit, functional, and integration testing.
• Leads discussion in team and departmental committees providing data and system administration.
• Develops, leads/coordinates conventions, standards, and procedures to improve departmental function.
• Develops and implements strategies and methodologies to meet the future information needs of LVHN.
• Follows current project management methodology and assures all team members to do the same.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree Information Sciences and Technology or Network Management related fields
• Preferred work experience will be considered in lieu of degree
• 7 years progressive experience in a local area networking environment.
• 7 years progressive experience supporting a large enterprise data network.
• Ability to evaluate the performance of network components and make recommendations for efficient operation and future growth.
• Attention to detail and ability to analyze and solve problems and interpret data.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and to be self motivated and self disciplined.
• Knowledge of processes of assigned area(s) and technologies.
• Effectively deals with multiple and changing priorities.
• Must be able to visit multiple business and education locations. (Dependent on employment location)

• CCDP - Cisco Certified Design Professional - State of Pennsylvania
• CCNP - Cisco Certified Network Professional - State of Pennsylvania

Physical Demands
Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
