Position Overview

Lehigh Valley Heart and Vascular Institute, part of Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN), offers clinical, educational and research excellence to provide the best cardiovascular care in eastern Pennsylvania. LVHN was the first in our region to perform transcatheter aortic valve replacement, to be recognized for performing mitral valve repair surgery and to treat chronic total occlusions.  We lead the region in ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation) and have specialized programs in women’s heart health, sports cardiology, advanced heart failure technologies, peripheral vascular and venous care and rhythm disturbance care. Learn more. 

By joining the team at the Heart and Vascular Institute, you’ll be joining our team of innovative clinicians. LVHN was the region’s first to perform transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) and is recognized as a center for performing complex mitral valve repair surgery.

Located in the heart of Hazleton, our hospital serves a diverse and growing population, providing exceptional health care services to the residents of southern Luzerne, northern Schuylkill and a portion of Carbon County, Pennsylvania.  You will have the opportunity to deliver exceptional cardiovascular care while enjoying the flexibility and autonomy in creating long term relationships with your patients.
