Summary
Provides assistance to patients with medical, clinical, and educational matters. Performs satisfactorily in customary services of the residency. Conforms to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulations.
Job Duties
- Evaluates medical histories, provides care, and suggests modifications for patient care rounds.
- Completes the patient's medical records within the required time frames including provision of all dictations and signatures.
- Performs satisfactorily in the academic requirements necessary to meet the program competencies and demonstrates that competency to the program director.
- Complies with all hospital and health network initiatives to improve patient safety including in the employment of technology.
- Abides by applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations, as well as LVHN policies and procedures.
- Provides and maintains a safe environment for caregivers, patients, and guests.
Minimum Qualifications
- Medical Degree Medical degree obtained in the United States or Canada accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME). or
- Medical Degree Medical degree obtained in the United States accredited by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA). or
- Medical Degree Medical degree obtained at a North American Dental School accredited by the Council on Dental Accreditation (CODA). or
- Medical Degree Medical degree obtained outside the United States or Canada and possess a valid certificate from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) or has a full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in Pennsylvania. or
- Medical Degree Medical degree obtained outside the United States who has completed a Fifth Pathway program provided by an LCME-accredited medical school.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time; dexterity and range of motion within normal range.

Physical Demands
Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
