Job Duties
- Provides technical leadership, in area(s) of specialization, on medium to large size projects as required.
- Maintains understanding of user, project leader, and management direction and meets regularly to review project priorities and scope.
- Functions as a coach and mentor to team members to achieve workflow standardization and design across the organization.
- Stays abreast of technological advancements. Researches and recommends new tools and alternatives to improve access and efficiency within the organization
- Coordinates and leads others in process of unit, functional, and integration testing.
- Leads discussion in team and departmental committees providing data and system governance.
- Develops, leads/coordinates conventions, standards, and procedures to improve departmental function.
- Develops, leads/coordinates conventions, standards, and procedures to improve departmental function.
- Follows current project management methodology and assures all team members to do the same.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree Information Sciences and Technology or related fields
- Preferred work experience will be considered in lieu of degree
- 10 years Progressive experience in Information Technology or a related Healthcare field
- 2 years direct Epic build on current software version
- Attention to detail and ability to assess business problems and develop feasible alternative solutions.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and to be self motivated and self disciplined.
- In depth knowledge of processes of assigned area(s), applications, and technologies.
- Effectively deals with multiple and changing priorities.
- Ability to complete projects with minimal supervision and/or direction.
- Must be able to visit multiple business and education locations. (Dependent on employment location)
