Summary
Supports applications to serve business needs and participates in the full development lifecycle for team applications and projects. Supports automated systems via the construction and testing of applications within area(s) of specialization. Partners with senior team members to identify the business needs and appropriate technical solutions.
Job Duties
- Assists the business in determining the best technical solutions for issues/processes and how they can/should be integrated with other business and technical systems/processes.
- Evaluates the configuration, implementation and maintenance of the technical requirements for the current development, staging and production environments.
- Analyzes work processes and troubleshoots operational problems.
- Executes thorough and complete test scenarios and plans.
- Assists in developing technology standards.
- Serves as a direct liaison to functional process owners and subject matter experts.
- Completes tasks by due dates or documents variances and alerts management.
- Serve as the IS partner supporting Finance areas in Workday, including FP&A reporting, Expenses, Procurement, Projects, etc.
- Provide consultation to Financials COEs, building domain knowledge, gathering requirements, providing solutions and impact analysis
- Serve as a subject matter expert on current and upcoming Workday capabilities
- Maintain master data values in Workday across areas of responsibility
- Configure, test, validate and implement Business Process changes in Workday
- Assist in testing of integrations, security and recurring events
- Provide input and knowledge sharing with Workday Team Lead, Workday Team Members, and clients as appropriate
- Serve as an escalation resource for Tier 2 & 3 issues
- Participate in scheduled and ad hoc training in order to improve policy and process acumen
- Design Workday Reports and troubleshoot issues with Workday reports
- Design and maintain system configuration, such as cost centers and consolidations
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree Information Sciences and Technology or Information Management related fields or
- preferred work experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
- 1 year Progressive experience in Information Management or Information Technology or
- 1 year Combination experience of Information Technology, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Healthcare or equivalent experience
- Attention to detail and ability to analyze and solve problems and interpret data.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and to be self motivated and self disciplined.
- Knowledge of processes of assigned area(s) and applications.
- Effectively deals with multiple and changing priorities.
- Must be able to visit multiple business and education locations (dependent on employment location).
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 years Progressive experience in Information Management or Information Technology or
- 3 years Combination experience of Information Technology, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Healthcare or equivalent experience
- Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Operations Experience.
Physical Demands
Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
