What do I need to do to receive text messages from MyLVHN?

If you currently do not receive text messages from MyLVHN, you can opt in easily using one of these options:

  • Option 1: From your smartphone, text the word “Start” to 78453. You will receive a welcome message confirming that you will receive text messages from Lehigh Valley Health Network (MyLVHN).
  • Option 2: At your LVPG doctor’s office, ask a team member about helping you opt in to text messages. They can send a text message from MyLVHN to your smartphone welcoming you to text messages. You do not need to reply to that message.
  • Option 3: Log in to your MyLVHN account and adjust your communication preferences. You can find this section by clicking on the “Menu” icon and typing in the word “Communication” in the search bar. Review your communication preferences, and if you choose to allow text messages, you will need to add your mobile phone number to your profile. You will receive a welcome message confirming that you have opted in for text messages from MyLVHN.
