Katelynn Vlahos, DO
Hi, my name is Katelynn Vlahos. I am originally from Pittsburgh, Pa., where I grew up like every “yinzer” cheering for all of the Pittsburgh sports teams. I am the youngest of eight children and have 13 nieces and nephews.
From Pittsburgh, I went to Penn State for undergrad, where I majored in biology, vertebrate physiology with a minor in child maltreatment and advocacy studies. While in State College, I was also heavily involved in THON and loved attending every football game. From there, I moved to New York to attend medical school at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in Middletown.
I had heard a lot of great things about LVHN’s OB-GYN program, and during my fourth year of medical school I was lucky enough to experience it myself. I completed a rotation on labor and delivery and felt like I was part of the team from day one. I was blown away by the kindness of all of the residents, attendings, nurses and other colleagues and knew it would be a great place to train.
Outside of work, you can find me spending time with family and friends, traveling, hiking, watching sports games or trying new restaurants, breweries and wineries.
