Hello, I’m Kristen. I was born in Pennsylvania, then grew up in West Virginia and North Carolina. I went to University of North Carolina Wilmington for undergrad and spent two gap years doing research at the National Institutes of Health in Baltimore. I attended Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Va., for medical school. I am interested in working in academic medicine after residency.

Outside of work, I like to go hiking, play board games and try new restaurants.
