Hi, I’m Busola, and I’m originally from Nigeria. I attended North Carolina State University, during which I did toxicology research at the Environmental Protection Agency and then earned my medical degree from Ohio State University (OSU). During my time at OSU, I worked with pregnant and new moms in at-risk regions of the city, focusing on wellness, nutrition and teaching self-advocacy.

I love the extensive nature of the field of OB-GYN and how we are able to be an integral part of our patients’ reproductive health.

During my interview at LVHN, I was impressed by the training opportunities, dedication to education and the culture of the program. I’m excited to train here and learn from the residents and faculty. My interests in women’s health include global health (creating sustainable change), substance use in pregnancy and increasing access to contraceptive care.

Outside of medicine, I’m always up for trying new foods, DIY projects and traveling.
