Final sign-off
In this last step before your treatment begins, your Lehigh Valley Topper Cancer Institute care team performs a trial run of the procedure. This process allows the Radiation Therapist and Physician to be absolutely sure that the scanning and planning done during your Simulation was accurate and needs no adjusting. They may then give their final approval on the treatment plan that will be applied the same way during each visit.
