About the Safe Touches Program

safe touches
Certified Safe Touches facilitators April Escueta and Megan Rainey use puppets Toby, Petunia, Herbert and Eunice to teach the Safe Touches program to second graders.

Safe Touches is an evidence-based, age-appropriate child sexual abuse prevention program. The classroom-based workshop is highly interactive and fun! Specially trained facilitators use puppet skits to progressively teach and reinforce important body safety concepts. During the program, students will learn the difference between safe and not safe touches and what to do if they feel unsafe, confused, or receive a not safe touch.
