Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) and renowned national nursing organizations recognize our nurses for providing exceptional care.
Nightingale Awards of Pennsylvania (NAP) is a statewide, non-profit organization, focused on recognizing exemplary nursing practice, and granting scholarships to students pursuing degrees in nursing at all levels. Awards recognize nurses in clinical, administrate, research and education roles and a patient choice award recognizes nurses who have touched the lives of patients and their families in an unforgettable way.

The DAISY Award® For Extraordinary Nurses is worldwide recognition program honoring the superhuman work nurses do for patients and families every day. Nurses are nominated by anyone in the organization – patients, family members, other nurses, physicians, other clinicians and staff – anyone who experiences or observes extraordinary compassionate care being provided by a nurse.

Friends of Nursing Awards recognize and promote excellence in nursing practice, nursing education and nursing research. At LVHN, Friends of Nursing is operationalized through the Professional Excellence Council. Nominees and recipients receive formal and public recognition when the awards are presented in association with National Nurses Week.
