Clinical ladder program

The RN Retention Committee launched a clinical ladder program for nurses at Lehigh Valley sites called PRIME (Program for Recognition for Individual Merit and Excellence). Clinical ladder programs recognize nurses for engagement, professional development and contributions to high-quality care.

Friends of Nursing

Friends of Nursing is a philanthropic foundation established to recognize and promote excellence in nursing practice, nursing education and nursing research. Activities include distribution of awards for outstanding practice, sponsorship of seminars and educational programs, creation of scholarship funds to support education programs, establishment of fellowships for research, funding for special projects and implementation of specific retention and recruitment efforts. Gifts to Friends of Nursing have come from patients and families, community members, nurses, physicians and other health care professionals.
