About

Philosophy of care

Taking a moment to sit down and simply listen is often overlooked in our day-to-day practice. My philosophy of care is to give you my utmost attention whenever I am in the room. I try to listen to everything my patients have to say about their lives, even if unrelated to medicine. Caring for you as a whole leads to better care of the disease or issue at hand.

Why I entered medicine

I always had a love and great respect for medicine and for science in general. Each day this field challenges me to grow and I learn something new. Also, my grandfather was a surgical technician and Army nurse in the Pacific theater of World War II, and two of my aunts, an uncle and cousins are in the medical and scientific research field. All have served as great inspirations to me.

Community involvement

During my time at DeSales University, I was involved with the free men's clinic at the Allentown Rescue Mission. We provided primary care to an at-risk population. I am currently involved with the music departments at my local parish and at DeSales as a cellist and a singer.

Personal interests

I enjoy such outdoor activities as biking, hiking and kayaking with my family and my goldendoodle dog. Additionally, I am an avid musician: I sing, play cello, guitar and bass, and love attending concerts.
