About

Philosophy of care

My philosophy is providing patients compassionate holistic care while educating them and their families. My success as a nurse practitioner requires me to be a strong advocate for you and your loved ones, and to be a strong representative of advanced-practice nursing.

Why I entered medicine

I entered medicine with the hope of providing comfort and making a difference for someone during their time of need. As a child, I remember my mother wearing white shoes at work and wondering what it meant to take care of people. I was able to visit her once and admired the type of work she did. I decided at that point to become a nurse. Being a nurse practitioner now allows me to pursue more goals and provide a higher level of care.

Community involvement

I volunteer at my daughter's school and really enjoy spending time with the children.

Personal interests

My personal interests include music, running and hiking.
