About

Philosophy of care

A healthier lifestyle is a priority of mine because it can help patients avoid or ease chronic medical conditions. Together we can address any immediate health concerns you may have and then strengthen your path toward optimum health. As Renaissance scholar Desiderius Erasmus put it: “Prevention is better than cure."

Why I entered medicine

Both my parents are family medicine physicians, so I witnessed the doctor-patient relationship from an early age. It is a relationship like no other. A family physician truly becomes a part of the family, as we get to learn so much about patients beyond their medical records. I look forward to partnering with you on a journey of total wellness: mind, body and soul.

Community involvement

I am involved with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and with the Girl Scouts. I also do community outreach through Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.

Personal interests

I enjoy fitness, tennis, singing and good food.
