Philosophy of care
I believe in a patient-centered, holistic approach to health. I strive to provide high-quality, compassionate and inclusive care in which patients are actively engaged in the decision-making process.
Why I entered medicine
The allure for a career in health care has always been in my heart. The opportunity to work as a registered nurse and now a nurse practitioner has been so rewarding. Each day I am given the privilege of building relationships with others, listening to their individual stories and then developing a plan with them to improve their well-being. I consider it an honor to work with patients and their families.
Community involvement
Being engaged within the community is important to me. I am involved in my local college community, as well as in my children's school district.
Personal interests
I enjoy walks, watching sports and the beach. But most of all, I love spending time with my family.
