About
Why I entered medicine
My goal is to provide comprehensive and compassionate care to women of all ages. I strive to make all women feel safe and comfortable under my care.
Community involvement
Even as a high school freshman I knew I wanted to be a nurse. My passion for women's health sparked a few years later, in nursing school, when I was pregnant with my first daughter. After graduation, I worked on the Mother-Baby Unit at LVH−Cedar Crest, and realized I wanted a more integral role in women's health care across the lifespan. Four years later, I began my journey to become a women's health nurse practitioner.
Personal interests
I am involved in local youth sports organizations.

What is a Care Team?
Your Women’s Health care team is a collection of medical professionals who work together to assess your needs and provide the best care possible. The care team includes physicians; advanced practice clinicians (APCs), including physician assistants and nurse practitioners; certified nurse midwives, registered nurses and medical assistants. Routinely working together fosters relationships, improves communication and allows us to better coordinate expert care for you, our patient.
Your women’s health journey can consist of many emotions-from excitement to vulnerability. We see you, we hear you, and through our care team model, aim to promote relationship – centered care utilizing up-to-date, evidence-based medicine.

"Everyone very nice friendly and helpful. Good experience with everyone."
"This was my first appointment with Cara Greene and I liked her very much. She made me very comfortable and was so easy to talk to. I will definitely be asking for Cara for my next annual gyn appointment."
"As soon as I walked into the office, I was greeted with very friendly professional front office staff. I was brought back before my appointment time even was scheduled, 10 minutes earlier. And the medical assistant was very warm and friendly. And the nurse practitioner, Cara Greene, was absolutely excellent. So thorough, so caring, so understanding, very compassionate. I can't say enough."
