About

Philosophy of care

My philosophy is practicing medicine by building strong relationships with patients. I believe in having thoughtful, open and honest conversations about patients' concerns and goals, as well as the available evidence and treatment options, so together we can come up with a plan of care they believe in.

Why I entered medicine

I became interested in medicine based on my love of learning and science and using that knowledge to help people. Over time my love for medicine has grown because it allows me to work with teams of like-minded individuals and care for patients.

Personal interests

I enjoy exploring with my partner and our two sweet pups, raising our chickens and growing vegetables in our garden. Otherwise you can find me on the couch with a coffee and a good book or watching sports on TV – I especially love women's basketball.
