About

Philosophy of care

Good health care begins with trust. I help patients overcome barriers and provide excellent, quality care acceptable to them. No matter where you are in your health journey, I am ready to redefine success for you.

Why I entered medicine

I spent much time early in my career working abroad, serving in Central America, South America and Africa. I believed that I would eventually settle into a life overseas as a missionary. What I soon realized is that there is great need in our own community. We are living among neighbors who are hurting, each with a story to tell. We also living in an area rich with resources and have partners with incredible gifts to share. Why would I need to serve abroad when I am blessed to work right here at home?

Community involvement

I am a passionate advocate for survivors of sex trafficking and a proud member of Valley Against Sex Trafficking.

Personal interests

I love traveling, gardening, cooking and spending time with my family and pets (two dogs and a cat). I can't get enough of farmer's markets and enjoy local produce and foods.
