About

Philosophy of care

I believe a physician should be compassionate, dedicated and work well on a team. I encourage my patients to be an active participant in their health care.

Why I entered medicine

My mother was diagnosed with aplastic anemia when I was 8 years old. From a young age, I became familiar with hospitals, doctors and nurses. Compassionate doctors explained my mother's illness. This experience gave me a better understanding of the medical profession, specifically the important role of the physician. The dedication of the hospital staff inspired me to become a doctor.

Personal interests

I enjoy reading, cooking and playing Wii Fit, as well as spending time with my husband and daughter.
