Philosophy of care

My primary goal in medicine is making a difference in the community I serve by being the best patient advocate I can be. My main focus is to promote your health and well-being through prevention. This includes centering my care on quality of life and ensuring you can live well and to the best of your ability.

Why I entered medicine

Medicine is the perfect combination of science, endless learning and working with people – all great passions of mine. My love for medicine started at age 10, when I walked into a human anatomy lab for the first time. My need to be a physician was confirmed at 19, when my grandmother was dying, and I couldn't be there for her in the ways I thought she most needed me. As for family medicine, I love the excitement that comes with taking care of all ages.

Community involvement

I am often looking for local runs (5Ks and 10Ks) to support a variety of causes.

Personal interests

I enjoy hiking with my fiancé and our dog. I also enjoy running, reading, going to the beach and spending free time with family and friends.
