About

Philosophy of care

The beautiful part of medicine is the partnership I get to create with my patients. I am guided by recommendations founded in evidence-based medicine, and together with my patients, we formulate the best treatment plans.

Why I entered medicine

I chose medicine because of its complexity: The way science and more specifically the human body worked has always fascinated me. When combined with the art of human interaction, I knew medicine was the field for me. I chose the path of family medicine because of the continuity of care. I enjoy knowing I can treat each patient through every facet of life, from infant to geriatric. The most enjoyable part of my day with patients is being able to celebrate their successes in living a healthy life.

Community involvement

I have worked with LVHN and its immunization clinics, including overseeing immunizations at schools and at large events.

Personal interests

I love to cook new and different cuisines; I am a very adventurous eater. I enjoy all sports but mostly college football. I am from Texas so I never miss a Longhorns game. In my house it’s always Longhorns on Saturday and Cowboys on Sunday. (Sorry Eagles fans). I am a girl dad so spending all the time I can with my little one is definitely my favorite thing to do.
