About

Philosophy of care

My philosophy is rooted in compassionate, patient-centered care. I foster trusting relationships by listening attentively, respecting values and providing holistic, evidence-based care. My goal is to empower you and your family to take an active role in your health. I work closely with physicians, health care teams and community resources to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.

Why I entered medicine

Living with type 1 diabetes has given me a unique perspective – one that allows me to truly understand the challenges, fears and triumphs of patients managing chronic illness. It has fueled my passion for patient-centered care, problem-solving and innovation in health care. More than anything, it has given me a purpose: to use my experiences not just to treat but to empower you, helping you navigate your own health journey with confidence and hope.

Community involvement

I volunteered at Camp Victory, a summer camp for children with special needs and serious health issues. I especially enjoy interacting with diabetic youth and encouraging positive physical and mental health behaviors.

Personal interests

I like world travel, hiking national parks, biking, kayaking and swimming. I am an avid European soccer fan: Go Manchester United!
