About

Philosophy of care

I believe in treating all patients with dignity and respect. It starts with the doctor-patient relationship, which is based on communication. I strive to listen to patients and understand their background and values in order to tailor treatment to help them achieve their goals in health care as well as life. Health is determined by social and spiritual factors, and not solely physical parameters.

Why I entered medicine

I chose the career of medicine because I love science and I love people. Medicine provides the opportunity to build relationships over time and affect change in people's lives.

Community involvement

I am very involved with my local church. I have volunteered at the Allentown Rescue Mission's free clinic run by DeSales University.

Personal interests

I spend most of my "free" time with my family enjoying the outdoors and sports. I play guitar and enjoy music and literature.
