About

Philosophy of care

My passion lies in a holistic, patient-centered approach to medical care. I am a strong proponent of improving patient education, so you can make the best choices for your own circumstances. I believe it is the duty of physicians to provide patients the tools they need to take charge of their own health care.

Why I entered medicine

I entered medicine because I love people. As a physician, I have the honor of hearing the personal stories of my patients and the responsibility to make sure those stories continue for years to come.

Community involvement

My most significant community experience was volunteering at my local emergency department during college. That was when I realized my passion for medicine stemmed more from my love of people than my love of medical science itself.

Personal interests

I enjoy educating patients, reading and video games.
