About

Philosophy of care

My philosophy involves creating a partnership with my patients. Health care can be a daunting and confusing task to navigate alone. I make sure you have a clear understanding of your health and help you take ownership of any health concerns. Health encompasses not only ailments but all factors – including socioeconomic barriers, community dynamics and at-home stressors – that can affect how we take care of ourselves.

Why I entered medicine

My mother always reminds me that as a small child I told everyone I was going to be a doctor. I had an innate inclination toward medicine and being able to care for others, including my diabetic grandmother, one of my biggest inspirations. Through medical school, residency and clinical experiences, all my patients have helped shape who I am as a doctor.

Community involvement

Personal interests

In my spare time, you can find me scouting local coffee shops or new eateries. I enjoy traveling and writing; catching up to my series and anime; puzzles, tabletop and video games; dancing and trying new experiences. Life is too short!
