Q: What are the minimum passing scores for USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 board exams for application to your program?
A: We do not have a minimum passing score to apply to our program. However, you must pass the appropriate parts of the USMLE/COMLEX Step 1 and Step 2 examinations. We prefer that examinations are passed on the first attempt.
Q: Is USMLE Step 3 required for application to the program?
A: USMLE Step 3 is not required for application to the program.
Q: Do you sponsor visas for international medical graduates?
A: The program will consider applicants who plan to secure a J-1 visa.
Q: Is clinical or research experience in the United States required to apply?
A: We do not require clinical or research experience; however, this experience will help strengthen an application.
Q: What is the maximum number of years since graduation from medical school that is allowed for application?
A: We are currently considering applicants who graduated from medical school within the past two years.
Q: Do you offer clinical shadowing, observerships, externships, etc.?
A: We do not offer these experiences at Lehigh Valley Health Network.
