- Emerging Health Professionals Program for Lehigh County Residents
The partnership of Lehigh Career & Technical Institute (LCTI), Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN), Penn State Lehigh Valley (PSULV) and Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) is pleased to offer this pioneering dual-enrollment program that combines interactive, college-level classroom learning and observation in a health care setting.
The program is designed for high school seniors interested in the health care field and allows students the opportunity to explore careers in health care firsthand. In addition, the program is designed to prepare students for post-secondary education by offering college-level science courses.
Students spend two half-days a week with PSULV/LCCC faculty and the LCTI instructor on the college campus, two half-days a week participating in activities at the LVHN campus, and one day a week participating in the health curriculum taught by the LCTI instructors.
High school juniors residing in one of Lehigh County’s nine school districts are eligible to apply. Please see brochure or visit the program website for further eligibility specifics.
