Summary
Responsible for leading the sourcing function of Supply Chain Services through close partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to standardize and improve processes. Implement strategic sourcing strategies and lead a team of sourcing professionals that deliver tangible value to LVHN. This position leads the identification, management, and implementation of the strategic initiatives in support of the Supply Chain Services mission and vision. This position closely consults with the Value Analysis team, Analytics team, Supply Chain Services leadership, and appropriate stakeholders. This position implements Key Performance Indicators (KPI) in consultation with Supply Chain Services leadership within the assigned area of responsibilities. This position will operate independently and possesses expertise in direct and indirect sourcing practices as well as experience with capital equipment acquisitions within the healthcare setting. The manager works closely with Supply Chain Services leadership to develop and execute well-defined business strategies and capitalize on planned and unplanned business opportunities.
Job Duties

- Leads the identification, management, and implementation of the strategic initiatives in support of the Supply Chain Services mission and vision.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Healthcare or equivalent years of experience.
- 7 years experience in the facilitation and negotiating of contracts, developing, initiating and managing sourcing strategies with tactical process capabilities or
- 7 years building/leading and influencing effective cross-functional teams or
- 7 years building strategic supplier relationships and
- 7 years leadership experience.
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel.
- Excellent written and oral communication skill.
- Intermediate to Advanced PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA).
- 3 years Project Management experience
and - 3 years basic Financial Analysis of Business deals.
- Strong knowledge of Supply Chain principles and processes and fluency with the tenants of strategic sourcing.
- Knowledge of how strategies and tactics work in the marketplace.
- Demonstrates the cognitive ability to assess situations, diagnose problems and determine an appropriate course of action to enhance the effectiveness of the organization and in alignment with core values.
- Ability to cope with change and act and decide without excessive data or information.
- Comfortable handling risk and uncertainty.
- Proactive collaborator in a matrix organization.
- Able to achieve assigned results in a fast-paced environment and be a change agent.
- Ability to perform market research to understand critical data associated with selected products, services, and vendors.

Physical Demands
Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
