  • Celebrated 50 years of being the region’s most trusted health partner, furthering the vision of Lehigh Valley Health Network’s modern-day founder Leonard Parker Pool
  • Introduced a Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapy Program, giving people with certain blood disorders access to specialized care close to home
  • Among the first hospitals in the world to offer patients the latest in robotic surgery technology (da Vinci 5 surgical system), enabling better patient outcomes, efficiency and insights, and as a result, helping to lower the total cost of care
  • Earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of approval after a successful 2024 survey

LVH–17th Street

  • Celebrated 125 years of service to the community and was honored with a Milestone Award from the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce
  • Held its annual free summer lunch program, serving a record 3,800 lunches to children living in Allentown
  • Health Care Futures Program offered internship opportunities to nearly 40 high school students from Allentown who shadowed health care professionals at LVH–17th Street and LVH–Cedar Crest

LVH–Muhlenberg

  • Upgraded technology for computed tomography (CT) scans to provide faster, high-definition images while reducing radiation exposure
  • Earned reaccreditation from the Pennsylvania Trauma Systems Foundation, giving patients access to fast, lifesaving care from clinicians with advanced training to rapidly diagnose and treat a trauma emergency

LVH–Hecktown Oaks

  • Recognized as a top performer in Vizient’s 2024 Bernard A. Birnbaum rankings, meaning the hospital meets Vizient’s strict standards for care, based on a quality and accountability study
  • Earned reaccreditation from the Pennsylvania Trauma Systems Foundation, giving patients access to fast, lifesaving care from clinicians with advanced training to rapidly diagnose and treat a trauma emergency

LVH–Carbon

  • Welcomed surgical oncologist Luke Rodriguez, MD, hematologist/oncologist Dillon Cason, MD, and podiatry, foot and ankle surgeon Elliot Busch, DPM
  • Hosted a free walk-in flu shot clinic, with more than 200 residents participating
  • Began hosting regular community blood drives at the hospital
