Excellent care always matters at LVHN. The quality of our care, colleagues and culture is regularly recognized nationally. Here are some of the recognitions achieved in 2022.
Nine years in a row
Lehigh Valley Hospital is the No. 1 hospital in the Lehigh Valley on the U.S. News & World Report Best Hospitals list and among the top 10 hospitals in Pennsylvania.
Innovative vaccination strategy
LVHN’s COVID-19 vaccine strategy ranked among the top 10 initiatives in the 2022 COVID Response Innovation Awards selected by Hospital and Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania. LVHN demonstrated a commitment to keeping patients safe, while taking meaningful steps to improve existing care or create new ways of solving problems posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
IT excellence
For the third year running, LVHN is one of the top health care organizations in the world for adopting and implementing technology to improve patient safety and outcomes. The College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) rated LVHN a Level 10 health care organization in the acute and ambulatory categories in its Most Wired Survey for 2022. Only 18 organizations received Level 10 designation.
Equitable care
LVHN hospitals receive national recognition for demonstrating a commitment to advancing health equity. The Human Rights Campaign designated us as Leaders in its LGBTQ+ Healthcare Equality Index.
A great place to work
For the third consecutive year, LVHN is a certified “Great Place to Work.” This prestigious award is based entirely on what colleagues say about their work experience. Explore LVHN career opportunities at LVHN.org/careers.
Leading-edge stroke care
