Dermatology Residency Program Benefits

The following program-specific benefits are offered to LVHN dermatology residents in addition to the graduate medical education (GME)-wide salary and benefits.

  • Residents are given 15 vacation days (PTO) per academic year in addition to five holidays. Academic conferences do not count toward vacation days.
  • $1,500+ yearly allowance for conferences, course registration, travel and medical equipment
  • Additional allowance if presenting at a conference and for senior residents
  • Book allowance
  • Technology allowance
  • Two lab coats and two scrub sets per year
  • Required membership dues – fees paid 
  • In-training examination – fees paid
  • Subscriptions included:
    • Journals (including JAAD, JAMA Derm, Dermatologic Surgery)
    • Derm in Review question bank
    • ASDS online 
    • Dermatologic Surgery Primer
