Grand Rounds

Grand Rounds occur one Friday per month with patient cases varying between 5 - 10 per month. PGY2 residents’ aim is to focus on morphological descriptions and differential diagnoses. PGY3 and PGY4 residents focus on diagnosis, workup, and management. All residents are responsible for creating patient protocols and presenting patient cases. Attendings discuss each patient case and provide management recommendations.

Journal Club

Journal Club occurs one evening per month (usually Tuesday or Wednesday). Each resident takes responsibility for presenting articles and discussion occurs amongst residents and attendings. The main journals utilized are JAAD and JAMA Derm, with additional articles of interest from Dermatologic Surgery, Cutis, and Peds Derm.
