Q: What are the minimum passing scores for USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 board exams for application to your program?
A: We do not have a minimum passing score to apply to our program. However, you must pass the appropriate parts of the USMLE/COMLEX Step 1 and Step 2 examinations. We prefer examinations are passed with two or fewer attempts.
Q: Is USMLE Step 3 required for application to the program?
A: USMLE Step 3 is not required for application to the program.
Q: Do you sponsor visas for international medical graduates (IMGs)?
A: The program does not sponsor visas.
Q: Is clinical or research experience in the United States required to apply?
A: Completion of at least two rotations or one externship/observership in the U.S. is required.
Q: What is the maximum number of years following graduation from medical school that is allowed for application?
A: We prefer graduation from medical school to be within the past three years but will consider those who graduated from medical school within the past five years.
Q: Do you offer clinical shadowing, observerships, externships, etc.?
A: We do not offer these experiences at LVHN.
