About

Philosophy of care

I believe in patient-centered care. I realize the importance of hearing your concerns and goals as we work as a team toward better health. As your physician, I will use my skills of listening, deductive reasoning and open communication during our visits. I will empower you to participate in your care as we work on both preventative health and treating current conditions.

Why I entered medicine

Becoming a physician is a long journey with hard work; however, I was steadfast on the journey because I have a lifelong calling to care for and give to my community. People seeking medical care often are at a vulnerable time in their lives. I am passionate about creating a safe and open space for each patient because you deserve no less as a human being.

Community involvement

I have participated in community and charity works that include caring for people with housing insecurities, at-risk children, the LGBT+ community and people experiencing substance use disorder. I am continuing this work in Allentown.

Personal interests

Things you can always get me talking about are professional and collegiate sports, hiking national parks, riding my bicycle and skiing.
